The Skewb was invented by Tony Durham in 1982. Now, it's yet another one of the WCA puzzles. In my opinion, the skewb is a very easy puzzle with only one algorithim (At least in the beginner's method), and is very much like the Ivy Cube (although the Ivy cube is easier).
